Image Upload vs. Image Browse

Pier Paolo Bortone
Hi there,
I have a problem to view image in my page.
I have some contents based on a structure that contains Image Field
named 'photo'.

Here is the code I used to render image in page:

<img src="$content.photoImageURI" ... >

dotCMS has a different behaviour:
- If I put an image via "Browse" method, I see the image in page.
- If I put an image via "Upload" method, I don't see the image in page
(src attribute is empty).

Any idea or suggestion?

Thanks in advance.

Pier

My guess is when you are doing the upload are not getting permissions
set on the image you are uploading.  When you upload an image via the
dotCMS website browser tree you right click on a folder and by default
the image will get the permissions of the parent.  Maybe when you are
uploading from the edit contentlet and the pop up comes up top upload
you are selecting a folder but permissions are not being set.

Ensure the images that don't show are set to cms anonymous read.
